Here are a couple of pics from the mens restroom on the way out to Old Tucson Studios.
We went to Old Tucson Studios were they filmed numerous westerns from throughout the years lots of John Wayne movies, The Three Amigos, Tombstone. We were super excited to see all of the sets only to arrive and find out the last day they were open was Memorial Day. We definitely had our Griswald family experience. We were looking for a Moose to punch in the nose but could not find one. So we opted to go to the gift shop next door and the lady told us about the town of Tombstone so we headed there.
Tombstone, AZ the town to tough to die.
We went to the re enactment of the shooting at the OK Corral
Here is us with the Earps, Doc Holiday and Big Nose Kate.

This is the courthouse in Tombstone which is also now the smallest state park.
If you look behind the brick wall that comes out from the courthouse you will see the gallows. They hung up to five men at one time of these.
In the left of the picture you will see the corner of the courthouse. The house in the picture below was a brothel. During recess the lawyers and judge would come and visit here.
On this street was 109 saloons and this was a really rough town and they say if you could make it all the way down the street you were one "toughnut".

Doc Holiday lived in this house for a period of time.
This was where we ate lunch good food. Nice people!

This is where the Doctor lived. He was a special doctor when the town went and lynched John Heathe and hung him from the telegraph pole in town because they disagreed with him getting life in prison instead of death. The death certificate read died of natural causes beginning stages of emphysema couldn't breathe.

Pretty cool day. The town of Tombstone only boomed for 8 years 1880 to 1888. Since then it has just existed currently there are 1800 people that live there.
