Giant Jackalope
This place was great all kinds of quirky things and lots and lots of stuff to go through. Could spend a day just going thru this store.
This piece of art is worth $22,000.00 and it is sitting down low enough that a 3 year old could reach up and break something on it. Not too smart cause 3 year olds can't read their sign about not touching.
Now entering the Badlands
Awesome rock formations
Dad had to push and go out further.
It is said that the bad guys used to have hide outs in here and would have look outs so when someone was seen approaching the area they would send a signal out to the others and then they would ambush whomever was coming.
Just beautiful prairie. Been trying to find Laura and her little house.
Mule Deer
Each of us living on the edge.
Our Artsy Fartsy picture for this trip
This is a skeleton walking a skeleton of a Dinasour
Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD
All of the murals on the building are made out of corn.
Want anything from the corncession stand?
This is on the side of the building. You can see where they have removed some of the old and the new building design is in the green. Every year a new murals are put on the building. There is one artist chosen and then 14 people create it on the building.
